| What
is a Capital Campaign?
It
is critical to remember that capital campaign dollars support
building facilities. These campaigns are based on multi-year pledges
when a major building project is forecasted.
The tangible results of the Campaign for Worcester, for example,
now grace the landscape of our campus—a new parking lot
with increased parking, safer traffic flow, and pick-up areas;
covered walkways that increase the safety and comfort of our students;
a newly designed outdoor eating area; new landscaping and outdoor
signage throughout the campus; a refurbished athletic field; and
the Brent Thompson Field House that opened in the fall of 2004
and is now being enjoyed by students, faculty, parents, and alumni.
We thank all those who generously participated in this effort.
Each of you should feel proud to be part of what was built as
a result of generosity, kindness, and support. |
