What is the Big6? The Big6 is a problem solving model developed by Mike Eisenberg and Bob Berkowitz. This model can help you with your research and information needs. Big6/Super3 Research Models

Problem solving models for grades K-2 (Super3) and grades 3-5 (Big6) that help students plan, complete and evaluate larger projects and papers. These are strategies that can help children throughout their lives.

Black Eyed Susan Book Nominees 2009-2010

Every year, students in Maryland schools may read from a list of books nominated for the Black Eyed Susan Book Award. Students read from the list and then vote for their favorite in the spring. Lower School students will be participating in this program through their library story-time and independent reading. It is a very fun and rewarding program that promotes books and literacy!
