Middle School Thespians Perform “Little Orphan Annie”
Berlin, MD – On Friday, May 12, Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) students in grades 6-8 presented an incredible performance of the musical “Little Orphan Annie”, originally based on a poem written in 1885 by James Whitcomb Riley, which later on became a variety of entertainment from comic strips to a Broadway play. The middle school play was directed by Upper School Dance/Drama Director Paulette DeRosa-Matrona and presented in the Athletic and Performing Arts Center on campus in front of parents, friends, and fellow Lower and Middle School students.
