First Days of School at WPS

Berlin, MD – Last week Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) had a staggered start for each division, welcoming Upper School (9-12) students on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, Middle School students (6-8) on Wednesday, and Lower School (PK-5) on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

The first day of school can be bittersweet for many, but students were all smiles, as they returned to campus, eager to get the 2023-24 school year started. Faculty and staff were also happy to return, and excited to encourage and challenge students in the year ahead!

WPS juniors Briar Parsons (Ocean Pines, MD), Nathan Montague (Selbyville, DE), Danielle Carr (Lewes, DE) and Emma Zajdel (Ocean City, MD) were excited to see Upper School Science Teacher Dr. Katie Moreland (center) on the first day of school.

6th graders Haley Hanna (Bishopville, MD), Aylin Kucuk (Ocean City, MD) and Alessia Ziman (Ocean City, MD) are eager to start their first year of Middle School at WPS.
