WPS National Honor Society and Cum Laude Induction Ceremony

Berlin, MD – In a ceremony on Wednesday, November 12, the Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) Charles R. Jenkins Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 28 new members, and four new members into the prestigious William E. Esham, Jr. Chapter of the prestigious Cum Laude Society.
 
NHS Inductees: Jack Adkins, Kayley Adkins, Matt Armstrong, Ansh Batra, Chase Burbage, Gabriella Damouni, Isha Garg, Alex Gjoni, Jackson Griffin, Michael Hall, Danny Kirwan, Jacob Lev, Max Lev, Darren Lockard, Gavin Mann, Cora McClanahan, Justin McGovern, Emma Nordstrom, Lara Owens, Keerat Pandher, Sydney Parker, Kyler Phillips, Ronen Poddar, Lyla Roberts, Olivia Soares, Caleb Walston, Meredith Walston, and Jack Wells.
 
The new Cum Laude inductees are Anisha Batra (’26), Ansh Batra (’26), Catherine Cullen (’26), and Jude Damouni (’26).
 
The Cum Laude Society is a national organization founded in 1906 that honors the world’s academic excellence in secondary schools to promote excellence (Arete´), justice (Dike´), and honor (Time´). WPS is the only school on the Eastern Shore with an established Cum Laude Chapter where superior scholastic achievement is honored.
