WPS Athlete Commits to UMBC Men’s Lacrosse

Berlin, MD – Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) junior student-athlete Karrigan Russell-Wood of Berlin, Maryland, has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Baltimore, Maryland, where he will be pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Economics.
 
A member of the Class of 2027, Karrigan Russell-Wood has earned Academic Head of School Honors for the past three years. At Worcester Prep, Karrigan is a standout multi-sport varsity athlete, competing in both varsity lacrosse and varsity golf, and has earned ESIAC All-Conference honors in both sports. Outside of school, he continues to sharpen his skills as a member of the Pro Start travel lacrosse program.
 
Karrigan is the son of Karsten and Lauren Russell-Wood.
