Worcester Wednesday Supports Children’s Beach House
Berlin, MD –On Worcester Wednesday, November 19, students and faculty at Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) came together to support Children’s Beach House with a blue dress-down day fundraiser.
Participants donated $5 to benefit the Children’s Beach House and its program to help improve the lives of children, youth, families, and communities by helping them to identify, understand, and utilize their own strengths, talents, and resources. Through early-childhood education, after-school programming, residential camps, and family wrap-around services, Children’s Beach House helps children, families, and communities build futures of hope and transformation.
Each month, WPS students nominate charitable organizations for the school’s Worcester Wednesday fundraiser. Special thanks to WPS seniors Anisha Batra and Ansh Batrafor bringing awareness to this important cause and leading the effort to support Children’s Beach House.
