WPS Students Inducted to Prestigious Cum Laude Society

Berlin, MD – The William E. Esham, Jr. Chapter of the prestigious Cum Laude Society at Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) welcomed nine new members during a ceremony on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The inductees include (L-R): Sophia Spadaro/Ocean City (’23), Amna Iqbal/Snow Hill (’23), Annie Carter/Lewes (’23), Morgan Schoch/Berlin (’23), Brooke Emeigh/ Seaford (’22), Sumira Sehgal/Lewes (’22), Riley Schoch/Berlin (’22), Christopher Todorov/Bishopville (’23) and Anderssen Taylor/Ocean City (’22).

The Cum Laude Society is a national organization founded in 1906 which honors the world’s academic excellence in secondary schools for the purposes of promoting excellence (Arete´), justice (Dike´), and honor (Time´). WPS is the only school on the Eastern Shore with an established Cum Laude Chapter where superior scholastic achievement is honored.

Celebrating 50 years, Worcester Preparatory School is an independent, college prep day school for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 students.
