Top Honors in Dog Show Art Contest
Congratulations to the following WPS art students, Kindergarten through Grade 12, who placed in the “2019 Eastern Shore Classic Dog Show Art Contest" which connects student and canine through artistic expression. Students from Ms. Tittermary’s and Mr. Zaiser’s WPS art classes placed in every age category except one, captured nine of the thirteen 1st place ribbons (earning cash awards), and junior Hannah Perdue received the Pathos Award top honor. Winners were selected based on their interpretation of “Dogs, Man’s Best friend” by a panel of judges which included local artists, art educators, and AKC judges.
