WPS: Shrek the Musical

Berlin, MD – Congratulations to the Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) Art Department for putting on an amazing show, Shrek the Musical, this past weekend. The amount of hard work put into the production showed, as there was a standing ovation!

Surrounded by family and friends, WPS hosted Shrek the Musical in the Athletic and Performing Arts Center on February 25 and 26. The show was made possible thanks to the creative collaboration and determination of talented student performers and amazing teachers, Director Mrs. Paulette DeRosa-Matrona, Music Director Mr. Christopher Buzby and Art Director Mr. George Zaiser.

Upper School thespians and artists combined music, dance and an array of art mediums. On top of the show, incredible works of art were created by students and displayed throughout the lobby for guests to enjoy before and after the show.

Celebrating 50 years, WPS is an independent, college prep day school for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 students.
