WPS Students Ring in the Season with Holiday Performance
Berlin, MD – Families and students of the Lower School, Pre-K through Grade 5, enjoyed kicking off the holiday season with a beloved Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) tradition, the annual Lower School Holiday Program.
On Thursday, December 7, Lower School Music Director, Joanie Brittingham, debuted, “The Festival of Spirit”, a spectacular performance filled with holiday songs and dance. Mrs. Brittingham wrote, directed, and choreographed the show, which featured over 200 singing and dancing lower school students. By the end of the performance, it was clear, each student was the star of the show.

Holiday shoppers, Olivia Mason (Frankford, DE), Tejal Pillai (Lewes, DE), Madelyn Bobenko (Berlin, MD), and Arden Mulford (Salisbury, MD), helped others to remember the true meaning of Christmas in Worcester Prep’s Lower School holiday performance.
Worcester Prep’s 1st-grade class made their debut as this year’s angels in the holiday performance, “The Festival of Spirit.”
Frosty, played by Mason Gerner (Ocean Pines, MD), and Snow Kids, played by Jad Salem (Berlin, MD), Luca DiFebo (Millville, DE), and Seva Nistazos (Ocean City, MD), had a great time on stage performing, “Frosty the Snowman.”
WPS 5th grader Eli Parker (Snow Hill, MD) played the role of Santa perfectly in this year’s Lower School holiday performance, backed up by his classmates singing “Mister Santa.”
WPS 5th Grader Sloane Smith (Berlin, MD) sings The First Noel along with her classmates who also played roles in the Nativity Scene, Camille Leslie (Berlin, MD), Soloman Prosser (Millsboro, DE), Colton Duffie (Ocean City, MD), Serena Jaoude (Lewes, DE), Darius Jones (Salisbury, MD) and Barrett Brittingham (Millsboro, DE).
