Berlin, MD – On Tuesday, June 10, Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) families and friends gathered to enjoy the highly anticipated annualSpring Music & Art Program, The Field Trip, performed by students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5.
Directed by talented Lower School music teacher Joanie Brittingham, the musical showcase featured more than 200 students singing, dancing, and taking the audience on a creative journey across America’s national parks. Along the way, students shared fun facts and fascinating discoveries that brought their virtual “field trip” to life.
The program also included a specialfifth-grade promotion ceremony, celebrating the students' transition to Middle School. Following the performance, guests were invited to explore a vibrant display of student artwork in the Field House. Guided by Lower School art teacher Mrs. Catherine Roman, students created pieces inspired by this year’s theme, beautifully tying together the music and visual arts components of the event.
