WPS Alumni Association Hosts 100-Day Breakfast for the Class of 2023
Berlin, MD –On Friday, February 10, the Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) Alumni Association sponsored a breakfast to celebrate the last 100 days of school for the senior class. Head of School, Dr. John McDonald and Assistant Head of School/Head of Upper School, Mike Grosso, served as chefs for the event, preparing pancakes and French toast for the attendees. WPS Alumni Association President, Chris Hoen ’90, welcomed the senior class and offered words of wisdom to the future graduates, including his daughter, Caitlyn. The featured guest speaker for the breakfast was WPS alum Gordon Abercrombie ’13 of Cato Gas & Oil Company. Abercrombie shared an inspirational speech to help guide seniors as they prepare to start their college career but also stressed the importance of remaining connected to Worcester Prep as alumni. In addition, each student was gifted a WPS tumbler courtesy of the Alumni Association.
