WPS WORX Speaker Series: Architect Daniele Haley

Berlin, MD – On Wednesday, April 23, a group of Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) students attended a WORX (Work, Observe, Research, Experience) seminar featuring architect Daniele Haley.
 
Daniele Haley is the Owner/Operator of Haley Architecture, LLC. During the WORX seminar, she shared her educational journey with the WPS students and her experiences throughout her career path so far. She attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where she earned a Bachelor's degree of Art in Architecture. Following that, she went on to receive her Master of Architecture degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She obtained her license to practice Architecture in 2012. She has design experience across many different sectors, including hospitality, government, education, multi-family, and residential. Helping homeowners design a new home or transform their existing home into a functional and beautiful space to enjoy day in and day out is her true passion. 
 
The WORX program at WPS aims to introduce students to the vast opportunities available within the community and beyond. Worcester Prep’s mission of providing a college preparatory education alongside real-world observation will enhance students’ learning and create opportunities for career exposure. These experiential learning opportunities will help students apply their classroom knowledge and encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, confidence, teamwork, and communication.  
 
Founded in 1970, WPS is a private, independent school offering Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, located in Berlin, Maryland. Approximately 500 students from Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia attend.
