Local Author Donates Complete Ocean City Book Series to Worcester Prep
Berlin, MD – Local historian and author Hunter “Bunk” Mann paid a special visit to Worcester Preparatory School last week to donate a complete set of his acclaimed Ocean City history series to the school's Guerrieri Library.
What made this moment particularly meaningful was the presence of Mann’s grandsons, Worcester Prep senior Ryan Mann and sophomore Gavin Mann of Bishopville, MD. The two stood proudly by their grandfather’s side as he signed and presented each book to the school library.
The donation included all three volumes: Vanishing Ocean City (2014), Ghosts in the Surf (2019), and Ocean City Chronicles (2023), which concludes the comprehensive trilogy chronicling the rich history and transformation of the beloved beach town.
