WPS LAX Goalie Achieves 200 Saves by Sophomore Year

Berlin, MD – Congratulations to WPS Varsity Girls Lacrosse Goalie, Caitlin Williams (’24), who recorded her 200th career save on Friday, April 8th, against St. Peter & Paul School.
 
Caitlin Williams has been playing lacrosse for 10 years. This is her second year on the WPS Girls Varsity Lacrosse team as a starting goalie. In 2021, Caitlin was named to the ESIAC All-Conference Team and won the Coach’s Award that year. This year she was voted a team captain as a sophomore. During Caitlin’s freshman season, she recorded 129 saves, with a 56% Save Percentage. Caitlin is a Multi-Sport Athlete at Worcester Prep where she plays Varsity Field Hockey, Varsity Soccer and Varsity Basketball. This summer, she will play in the prestigious Under Armour 150 for the second year in a row. This recruiting event showcases the top 150 players in the country.
