Worcester Preparatory School continues to embrace and grow within its foundational mission rooted in college preparation, academic distinction, and whole-child development. This Strategic Plan was meaningfully developed to support students, faculty, and staff in intentional and tangible ways. Through our support of the identified guiding principles, we will continue to invest not only in our students but also in our faculty and staff through comprehensive compensation and benefits packages and the fostering of professional growth opportunities. We are also dedicated to creating facilities which inspire learning, athletic achievement, artistic expression, and cultural exchange.
Additionally, we ensure financial sustainability through responsible fiscal stewardship, enhanced fundraising, and a focus on growing reserves and endowment. Each of these commitments reinforces an environment at Worcester Prep in which learning, growth, leadership, and student success are paramount.

Celebrating 50 years, WPS is an independent, college prep day school for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 students. Located in Berlin, Maryland, the private school attracts an average of 500 students from Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
