WPS Academic Convocation Top Awards Announced

Berlin, MD – The annual Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) Academic Convocation ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, recognizing students for outstanding academic achievement across all subject areas, as well as exemplary service to the school community.

The ceremony celebrated the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of WPS Middle and Upper School students throughout the academic year. The evening’s most prestigious Academic Convocation honors were awarded to four exceptional students. The Best All-Round Student awards were selected through a written vote by WPS faculty and staff.

The following students received top honors:
Head of School Highest Academic Average Award, Grades 9-11: Gavin Mann, Grade 11
Best All-Round Student, Grades 9-11: Gavin Mann, Grade 11
Head of School Highest Academic Average Award, Grades 6-8: Serena Jaoude, Grade 7
Best All-Round Student, Grades 6-8: Tejal Pillai, Grade 7
