First Days of School at WPS

9/4/2026

Berlin, MD – This week, Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) joyfully welcomed students back to campus for the start of the 2026–27 school year. Upper School students (Grades 9–12) returned on Monday, August 31, followed by Middle School students (Grades 6–8) on Tuesday, September 1, and Lower School students (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5) on Wednesday, September 2.

The first day of school can be bittersweet for many, but WPS students were all smiles as they reconnected with classmates, met teachers, and began a new year of learning and growth. Faculty and staff were equally excited, eager to inspire, challenge, and support students throughout the year.
