WPS Grade 12 Physics: Building Roller Coasters

Berlin, MD – This week, Mrs. Corron’s senior College Prep Physics class met in the Guerrieri Library to put their newly constructed roller coasters to the test, while the 3^rd grade observed.

The project kicked off their study of kinetic and potential energy in preparation for an upcoming trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. Minimum requirements included an 8-second "ride" with a functional loop, constructed with limited materials.
