WPS Students Inducted to Prestigious Cum Laude Society
Berlin, MD –The William E. Esham, Jr. Chapter of the prestigious Cum Laude Society at Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) welcomed three new members during a formal induction ceremony held on Wednesday, April 22.
The 2026 inductees include Kain Crossett (’26), Paxton Mault (’26), and Sydney Todorov (’26). These students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement, exemplary character, and commitment to the ideals of scholarship.
The Cum Laude Society, founded in 1906, is a national organization that honors academic excellence in secondary schools and promotes the core values of excellence (Arete´), justice (Dike´), and honor (Time´). Worcester Preparatory School is proud to be the only school on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with an established Cum Laude chapter, recognizing students who demonstrate superior scholastic achievement.
Founded in 1970, Worcester Preparatory School is a private, independent Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 school located in Berlin, Maryland.
