Worcester Wednesday Supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Berlin, MD – On a recent Worcester Wednesday, students and faculty at Worcester Preparatory School (WPS) came together to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a special “Dress Down Day” fundraiser.

Participants donated $5 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a leading nonprofit pediatric treatment and research center dedicated to advancing cures and prevention for catastrophic childhood diseases, particularly leukemia and other cancers. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.

Through the successful fundraiser, WPS raised $2,103 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Each month, WPS students nominate charitable organizations to benefit from the school’s Worcester Wednesday initiative. April’s fundraiser was led by WPS sophomore Carolina Labin.
